The profile begins with a quick overview of basic information such as where you’re from, where you went to school, and where you work—the kinds of conversation starters you share with people you’ve just met or exchange with old friends as you get reacquainted.

And since there’s often no better way to learn about a person than through photos, the profile now includes a row of recently tagged photos of you. In my case, my profile features pics from my healthy vegan dinner dish, my wife and myself celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary and a family hiking outing.

Featured Friends

You can now highlight the friends who are important to you, such as your family, best friends or teammates. Create new groups of friends, or feature existing friends lists. I opted to feature my wife, 2 daughters and son.

New Experiences

The profile also gives you new ways to share your interests and activities. You can list the projects you worked on at your job, classes you took in school, your favorite musicians and sports teams, and more. You can also share your life philosophy by connecting to the religions, political affiliations, and people you follow and admire. All your interests and experiences are now represented with images, making your entire profile a more compelling visual experience.

Improved Photos and Friends Pages

Thanks to the cool new “infinite scroll” feature, it’s now much faster and more fun to browse all your photos. The Friends page now allows you to quickly find the people you’re looking for: just search by name, hometown, school or a number of other dimensions. I met a ton of new Ultimate players at Nationals, and the new profile has made it so much easier to locate and learn about them.

Where did the year 2010 go? I remembered last years new year celebration and now it’s 2011…wow! To start the year off with a blast this article I wanted to bring up some heavy thoughts about Facebook and Google.

Yea I know that this blog is about Facebook, YouTube and Twitter but the big G plays a heavy roll in advertising and getting traffic to your sites. I knew this would happen, where Facebook would win out Google as the leading visited domain in the US. Facebook received almost 9% of US web traffic compared to Google’s 7.2 percent.

What does this mean? Well it depends on what type of business you’re in and what type of marketing strategy you’re using now. Facebook is a Social site where you can keep in touch with friends and family, meet new friends and create groups to keep people updated as to your day to day activity. If you market online and you haven’t used Facebook, maybe you should start thinking about it now. More marketers are adding Facebook to their marketing strategy. It’s not a place to spam people but a place to meet people and get to know them personally so that you can eventually build a relationship with them slowly introduce them to your business when the time is right.

Building traffic to your site with Facebook can be a very important part of your business. You need to capture some of the traffic that Facebook offers to build your business. Its a little different from what you get from Google in terms of your approach with Facebook versus Google. The way that you market your business to Facebook would be on a more personal basis compare to marketing to Google. Al in all you need to add Facebook as part of your Marketing Arsenal right away!

That number is 250 friends and yes, that does mean that your friends are also limited to that amount. Facebook makes the selection on the basis of who they think you want to see posting to your wall. I have already started an Online Business and now what I’m trying to do is build FaceTubeTwits as a Social Media Informational Training for newbie’s. I’m thinking of producing informational videos and post it to a members area on this site. This site has no membership plugin but will have one installed as soon as I have some video’s produced. Anyone who subscribes to FaceTubeTwits will be automatically added to the member’s area. The video’s will be based on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter obviously but a lot of question’s that people have about these 3 Social Media Site’s will be answered through the use of video’s.

Well it’s a New Year and this is my first video in 2011. There was a lot that went on in my life in 2010. Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have played a big part in my learning experience for 2010 along with Dennis Becker’s 1KADAy Forum and Matt Levenhagen xTremeProfits Forum. Both Forums are excellent for the novice Internet Marketers or Veterans. Azsno and his Adsense Bootcamp is another excellent Forum. He teaches how to build Adsense Websites with RSS feeds for eBay, YouTube, Amazon and a lot more affiliate RSS feeds. It’s a gold mine with these 3 Forums put together.

I just recently attended Bardi Toto’s Social Media Marketing Webinar that she holds every Wednesday evening. She’s the Queen of Social Media Marketing. You have to hear her story about how she created a six figure income using Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and other Social Media Sites; it’s incredible what she accomplished in such a short period of time. Bardi knows what she’s talking about and is writing another book which is in progress at this time. In fact I’m one of her students who just bought her new Secrets To Success Social Media Marketing. My goals for 2010 are to continue on my weight loss mission. I will be posting all details in a blog that I launched last year then fell short of updating because of other commitments. I am also a part of InVestWorks which is a system that I use to build a solid foundation of people who wants the same thing as I do which is Financial Freedom. We’ve learned to work with those who have a strong desire to retire in a year or less and teach them how the system works. We don’t push anyone, who’s not quite clear on what they want in life. You have to know what you want in life and then your desire becomes strong enough to give you that edge to succeed and build a strong business. I have one more goal but I can’t actually say it out loud at the moment. The reason is it’s giving of my time to help someone who is helping a lot of people with health concerns. I’m waiting for a reply from an email that I sent to them and hopefully I will hear from them soon.

Well this person faced up to a rather difficult challenge that he had and was determined to prove people wrong.

Why can some people overcome their challenges and some cannot? You have to really want it to overcome it… Think about what challenges you have and help yourself improve the situation by wanting to help yourself and prove to people that nothing is impossible!
